What is a drawing? Drawing is a form of graphic expression that stamps images on a real or virtual medium; for example paper, wood, cardboard, glass or through the computer. Considered one of the elements that make up the painting and one of the types of visual arts. The drawing represents the universal graphic language and has been used by mankind since prehistory. The drawing can be classified as : Artistic drawing: it is the rationalized two-dimensional graphic representation of those objects that the eye perceives in a three-dimensional way. It is a technique that allows expressing form and volume, using the line as a manifestation of feelings and thoughts. It is done through graphic techniques on two-dimensional support, represented objectively and subjectively to reality and concepts. Geometric drawing: it is that type of drawing that draws things to scale, that is, as they are, as long as what is drawn is completely flat. This drawing class is widely used for teaching, especially in the early years in the faculties of architecture and engineering, as well as in the beginnings of secondary education (high school). Technical drawing: the almost exclusive way of drawing geometric lines is named; using precision tools (rules, brackets, compass, conveyor, etc.) Geodetic drawing: this kind of drawing represents round or spherical surface objects, so it makes corrections to the focus, in proportion to how close or far they are from the sphere's poles. For example, in some maps, the parallels are drawn as parallel horizontal lines, and the meridians are curves that start from the poles. The drawing is very important since it represents a natural impulse of all human beings. Drawing as a complement of the mind helps consciousness and thought. Some of the techniques applied when making a drawing are: Pencil technique: it is handled in two large phases; the first is to draw the lines that represent the skeleton of the drawing; and the second addresses shading. Ink technique: it is widely used in the realization of artistic and recreational paintings. This technique works lowered in the water, usually on paper, wood or cloth. Marker technique: it is one of the most modern, it is applied using a marker, or down for the realization of an abstract or color mixing art.
